Institute BRO Chief Representative Kenneth Jiang and senior manager Charlotte Xiao visited Jiangsu and Zhejiang officials and H-share board secretaries between 7 and 9 April 2010. The objectives of the visit were to:

• Enhance networking relationships with regulators and board secretaries in the region.  
• Provide updates regarding the Institute’s development in three perspectives – Hong Kong, the mainland and internationally.
• Sharing of the current trends and developments in corporate governance matters in the mainland and Hong Kong
• Nurture communications with Institute’s Affiliates, H-share board secretaries and other stakeholders.

The meetings made during the period are valuable in setting up effective dialogues with the regulators in Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. The Institute would like to express its sincere thanks to the representatives from the following organisations for meeting with, and sharing their valuable views with our representatives during the visit.  Also, a special thanks to Jiangsu Expressway Co. Ltd and Zhejiang Expressway Co. Ltd. for organising the dinner evening gatherings with the Affiliates, H-share board secretaries and on 7 April in Nanjing on 8 April in Hanzhou respectively.
