Once you have logged in you will be able to change your password. In addition, you will be able to update you personal contact and employment details that we keep on record at the Institute.

A new requirement of the Institute is the provision of an e-mail address. The website is the front-end of a new information technology and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that the Institute has installed in order to serve you better. In terms of the communication of Institute business, the quickest and easiest way to contact you is via email; so from now on it is a mandatory requirement for all members and students to provide the Institute with a valid email address. We will not pass this email address to any third party.

The security of your data is very important to us and we take every precaution we reasonably can to ensure it is protected from non-authorised personnel. Your data is never passed to a third party. Officers at the Institute have access to your data on a need-to-know basis. Only you can access your data via the web site and you must never pass your login ID / password to a third party. Q: I don't know my student / member ID.
A: send an email to ask@hkics.org.hk with your name and HKID. We will send you your HKICS student / member ID

Q: I have forgotten my password.
A: If we have your email address on file then click the Forgot your password link. You will be asked to enter your student / member ID, and the password will be emailed to you immediately.

Q: I don't have an email address on file at HKICS.
A: If we don't have an email address already for you, then when you use the Forgot your password link and enter your student / member ID, it will prompt you to enter your HKID # and your new email address. We will then send the password to your new email address, and save that email address to your file.

Q: I want to change my password
A: To change your password, first login with your old password. You can then update your password. We recommend that you do this.
