The JFIU informed that they have launched an electronic means of suspicious transaction reporting solution "e-STR Submission".

To adopt this "e-STR Submission", organisations must have:
|
|
a.
|
Web browser (Chrome and Firefox are recommended);
|
b.
|
Latest version Adobe Acrobat Reader; and
|
c.
|
Ecert from Hongkong Post
|
|
By using the new "e-STR Submission", reporting entities would also be given other supporting functions, such as retrieval of previous suspicious transaction reports ("STRs") as well as real-time checking of the feedback from JFIU.

For registration, please click here to download and complete the registration form and send it to JFIU by fax (No. 2529 4013), e-mail (jfiu@police.gov.hk) or post (GPO Box 6555 Hong Kong). Officers of JFIU will contact the reporting institution upon receipt of the registration form and provide the latest version of proforma for making STRs (please click here for the current version) and other relevant documents.
