Breast cancer is one of the most common cancer type facing by women around the world and becomes an important public health issue. Over the past 10 years, the incidence rate continues to drop in North America but it is increasing in Asia. In Hong Kong, the incident rate doubled in the past decade and becomes the third leading cancer of cancer-related death for women.
Members, graduates and students are invited to join the seminar supported by Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (the Foundation). Surgical specialist from the Foundation will give an overview on breast cancer with focuses on the symptoms, staging, importance of early detection of breast cancer as well as the tips on self-examination.
