The number of newly listed companies has declined, and alternative markets such as AIM and GEM have not been too successful in attracting new economy (innovative) listings. With the nature of shares being what it is, is it time to think about innovation in governance such as weighted voting rights or other innovative means to tie investors to innovative companies and their listings in Hong Kong? In this seminar, speakers would share their insights and discuss on how governance could support growth and innovation through attracting innovative company listings.
This seminar organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS), in partnership with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, is part of the International Financial Week of the Asian Financial Forum 2018 (AFF). Participants of AFF 2018 will enjoy HKICS member’s rate in attending this seminar.
Target audience: directors, INEDs, company secretaries and senior management.
