The governance professional is increasingly concerned with risk management. Accordingly, the Institute, in collaboration with KPMG China, published the ‘Risk Management Survey: Empowering Success’ report in November 2020. This also contained opening remarks by the Exchange.
The major findings of the report were that: Hong Kong organisations are increasingly taking ESG-related risks into account, but that this has not been fully integrated into their ERM systems and long-term strategic planning. Also, there is common mismatch between the frequency of risk assessment and risk reporting, and technology for risk management is under-utilized.
The Institute is delighted that the speakers from KPMG will hone in on these issues, and share practical best practices. The seminar is intended to help the governance professionals with thoughts to enhance risk reporting efficiency and effectiveness, and also to better understand integrated risk management solutions in risk monitoring and reporting.
