Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards

The Annual Corporate Governance (CG) Paper Competition and Presentation Awards, which is organised by the Institute, aims at promoting the importance of good governance among local undergraduates and providing them with an opportunity to research, write and present their findings and opinions on the selected theme.

CG Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2020

The theme is ‘ESG Reporting: A Value Proposition? Yes or No?’.

This CG Paper Competition received a record-high entry of 50 teams of 151 undergraduates from 10 universities who submitted their papers. These papers are subject to a two-tier review: first by a designated group of 11 reviewers to select six finalist teams; and then by the three-member panel judges to determine the Champion and the 1st and 2nd Runners-up.

The six teams attended a presentation training session and presented their papers to compete for the ‘Best Presentation Award’ on Saturday 19 September 2020. Audience voted online to select the ‘Audience’s Favourite Team’.

The Institute is pleased to announce the winners of the Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2020 as follows:
